Upcoming Planetary Influences for the United States

Chakrapani Ullal - Wednesday, July 31, 2013

In the yearly predictions for 2013-2014, I stated “Whenever Saturn and Rahu are in transit and affected by Mars or the Sun, there will be situations which attract challenges. Caution is indicated in September and October, which looks to be the most difficult period for the country this year. Saturn and Mars are in aspect during these months. SunRahu, and Saturn together have the potential for creating turmoil in some area of the country. There can be many kinds of challenges during this time. It is a period of vulnerability, with the possibility for incidents that may affect many people. Therefore, during the month of September in particular, it is a time in which the country is susceptible to influences out of our control.” read more

Meteors Hitting Earth: A Vedic Astrology Perspective

Chakrapani Ullal - Wednesday, June 05, 2013

In February 15, 2013, a meteorite hit Russia and caused injury to more than a thousand people. Many people have reached out to me to ask the question: what does Vedic astrology say about when the next meteorite will hit the Earth? I am not a scientist, and I don’t know anything about scientist’s view of meteorites, but there is a view in astrology. According to the astrological view, no meteorite will directly hit the Earth in the near future. There is no astrological indication that a meteorite will disturb the population anytime soon. Then the question arises: how did this meteorite hit Russia? Well, there are many meteorites travelling the sky very often. Some of them come close to the Earth and some of them stay distant, but in the process pieces of meteorites may come and fall on the surface. The meteorite that hit Russia was actually a particle of an asteroid that happened to break off and fall on the Earth. Of course it was very large and had a direct impact, but it was still just a piece. Many times in the past, people have brought up the fear that a meteorite is likely to hit the Earth and cause immense destructive impact. But though a piece of meteorite impacting the Earth is always a possibility, there is no astrological indication that a meteorite itself (some of which rival the Earth in size) will hit the Earth directly. I hope many of you will find this helpful. Feel free to leave your comments, as well as other areas of inquiry you’d like me to address.  read more

Nanadana Year

2012-2013 PREDICTIONS

by Chakrapani Ullal

This New Year, March 2012 to April 2012 bears the unmistakable stamp of Mars and Saturn. It is a challenging year, but a year that will deliver us to better conditions, better times ahead. Knowing the outlook is generally good, with a marked improvement by the January, 2013, year-end period, one might brace themselves for some tough going, take precautions where possible, but basically, keep the faith, confident that these difficulties, too, shall pass.

Mars Transit Leo

Chakrapani Ullal - Friday, November 11, 2011

On October 31, Mars entered Leo.  Ordinarily, a Mars transit in any particular sign would last about 45 days.  However, in this instance Mars will be in Leo until June 20, approximately seven months.

Because Leo is a fiery sign, and Mars itself is a fiery planet, this is a potentially explosive situation - literally.  Inevitably, during this period there will be a greater incidence of fire, explosions, earthquake, accidents; as well as the potential for violence, regarding revolts or protests of one kind or another.

Further Thoughts on the Saturn/Sun Juncture

Chakrapani Ullal - Sunday, October 16, 2011

Saturn/Sun conjunction on Thursday and Friday was the critical moment in time for this problematic influence. Although those days have passed, it set in motion events which will take time to play out. For this reason, we continue to live with the consequences of the critical Saturn/Sun juncture of October 13 & 14, as well as experience the diminishing, but none-the-less real influence of Saturn/Sun up through the early days of Libra Sun. read more
